Trump says crazy things to get free media. He then uses the free media to talk about how much he is winning. They then uses "linguistic kill shots" to take out his opponents branding them exactly how they do not want to be branded.
Hillary's campaign strategy was TERRIBLE. Rather than craft her own message, she saw Trump make "outsider" as a good thing and then tried to pretend she was an "outsider". She would not stop playing the "woman" card.
