Tip #1 - To read other people, you must read yourself. Practice self-awareness and when you are forming and changing opinions about other people.
Tip #2 - Ask where is their attention? What is their body language saying? Are they asking and answering engaged questions? Or do they just want to get away.
Tip #3 - Read emotion in their face. Identify micro-expressions. Practice making predictions.
