Donald Trump's Incredible Powers Of Persuasion

Tip #1 - He motivates people by using fear.  It captures the emotion and attention of people.  Fear shuts down higher thinking.  Critical thinking skills dip as we focus on protecting ourselves.
Tip #2 - Fear is used to create anger.  The anger is always directed at "other" groups: Muslims, immigrants, foreign nations.  You become anti-American when you disagree with him.
Tip #3 - He bullies people to appear dominant.  He then sells that image as a good leader who will dominate other nations and other world leaders as effectively as he dominates his political opponents (by bullying them).
Tip #4 - Everything is black and white.  He promises everyone he will win every time at every thing.  It does not have to be true and make logical sense, it makes people feel good.
Tip #5 - He deflects all legitimate criticism of his failings with humor.  It is a pattern interrupter.
Tip #6 - He deflects attacks by looking superior.  Looking as though the facts he is hearing are disgusting.  The person who reacts more has lower value.
Tip #7 - If an opponent scores a point, you co-opt their victory and make yourself a player in the fun.
